My friend, did you know in the temple there were no benches or chairs for the priests to sit on, because their work of making atonement for the people was never complete. There was always more sin to make oblation for. This is why it is significant that Christ, after "He had by Himself purged our sins, SAT DOWN at the right hand of the Majesty on high". Jesus finished His assignment His Father has given to Him. You remember Jesus said "IT IS FINISHED" while hanging on the cross. John 19:30. It is finished, IT IS FINISHED, the price for our redemption is paid. we are free, free, Thank you Jesus.
