YOU ARE NOT AN ACCIDENT!
"I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made:.." Psalms 139:14. My friend, Oh yes, someone you love or respect slams you to the floor with a slur or slip of the tongue. And there you lie, wounded and bleeding. Lost the self esteem and significance. Perhaps the words and actions intended to hurt you, perhaps not: doesn't matter- there you lay- the wound is deep, the injuries are internal, brokenhearted, wounded pride and bruised feelings, right? Instead of basing our self-worth on God's love and approval, we tend to base it on what others think of us, and how we're accepted by them. Believing that our self-worth is based on what others think of us is a false belief that leads us to become addicted to their approval. Psalm 139 says that I was shaped for a purpose. God created everything in the word for a purpose including you. You are not an accident. You are not taking up space. God made you for a reason. You were designed by God and it was His idea. It's not a mistake. You were planned before birth. God did not simply sit down at a computer and randomly access a bunch of components and throw it all together and out came you. The Bible clearly says that you were purposefully, personally and orderly planned and designed by God. His loving hand made you exactly the way you are. Hey, your uniqueness is what God wants you to offer to the world. Betrayal, trouble, mockery, belittling or such will happen. Don't look for fairness here- look where Jesus looked. When going through hell, Jesus kept His eye on heaven. While surrounded by enemies he kept his mind on His Father. While abandoned on earth, he kept His heart on home. When all of earth turns against you, all of heaven turns toward you, do you know that? To keep your balance in a crooked and unfair world....think home! Tada. That's what Jesus did. "In the future you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of God, the powerful One and coming on clouds in the sky". Matthew 26:64. Now STOP THAT PITY PARTY! RISE UP! WALK LIKE A GENERAL! GOD HAS A PLAN FOR YOU! Did you hear?

IF EVERYONE IS LIKE YOU?
"Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in Spirit, in faith, in purity". 1 Timothy 4:12. When I was working as a Chemical Laboratory Manager, one of the employees had a problem of getting along with coworkers. I asked him "If everyone in the world is like you, behaving, talking, reacting, and complaining, will you be living in a perfect world and you will be happy? Go, and think about it for couple of days and come back to me". Well, he never came back. My friend, if everybody did what you do, would the world be better or not as good? Are your standards of conduct so high that you want others to copy them? Suppose everybody talked as you do. Would there be more or less harmony among people? Do you guard your words so carefully that you would be willing to have everyone- young or old- talk as you do? Suppose everybody thought as you do. Would Christianity be a strong force in the world today? Are your thoughts free of envy, hatred, and fear, worthy to serve as models for others? One more thing- Suppose everybody had the faith like you have. Would the kingdom of God nearer, more real, throughout the world? Is your faith strong enough, firm enough, to inspire others to move mountains of doubt? My friend, are you thinking about these lines? Yeah?. Of course, only One is worthy of serving as the perfect example: JESUS CHRIST. Suppose everybody followed His example- WOULDN'T BE A PERFECT WORLD?. Recently a company send me a pamphlet in the mail, containing the phrase: "AN INVESTMENT IN PARADISE'. No place on earth is a "paradise". In reality, we make an investment in the true paradise when we commit our lives to Jesus. Paradise is the place where we will never again feel alone, out of place, discouraged, or sad. 1 Peter 2:11 says "Beloved, I implore you as aliens and strangers and exiles [in this world] to abstain from sensual urges (the evil desires, the passions of the flesh, your lower nature) that wage war against the soul" . Is this help you?
